Eyes Of China Blue

A haunted house reveals its disturbing secrets to a troubled author

Moira, an alcoholic bestselling author, buys a rundown Victorian house. She’s at her lowest ebb having lost custody of her twin children and suffering from writers’ block.

She encounters an eery presence, a long-dead Edwardian lady, Lydia.

As the words pour out of her, Moira is convinced she is being guided by Lydia to tell the awful truth about her life and loves.

Moira strives to discover the truth about her ghostly collaborator battling her own demons at the same time.

How did the plot and characters reveal themselves

Eyes of China Blue was inspired by a large Victorian house overlooking the Thames near Hampton Court. The author often imagined the dramas that might have taken place within its old walls.
